Spirituality and Distortion has been released on March 27th of 2020, and has been a difficult album to create and to release. This video is showing some footage of the recording process which started the first days of January 2019 and ended up early 2020.
Since this historical period of pandemic, some things has changed in the band, but we choose to show the real images anyway, how things really were, even though it doesn't always match anymore with the today's reality.
I hope you will enjoy getting through this documentary and that will help you listening to Spirituality and Distortion with sharper ears.

Himalaya Massive Ritual is one of those rare songs in metal that just comes along once in a decade. An absolute masterpiece and master class in production, performance, and polish.

Will we see any of these strange instruments live on stage? Gas cylinder, trailer, squeaky chair, george fisher? Looking forward to Hamburg

I'm 45 years old and I've been listening to metal since I can remember. I make music and have done some recordings in studios, so I might judge your work differently. But what you offer in your songs is hard to describe. I've heard something like this really seldom, if I can't even say it's unique so far. I love every single song, enjoy every detail and you leave me speechless day after day. What you make possible when you live out and implement ideas, no matter how complex they may be. you are so wonderful I am very happy to have found you. Sadly right now. Keep up the great work! I admire you. Greetings from Germany!

The part about Laure was respectful. He spoke how he wanted and conveyed reality.

Also this recording happened during lockdown and a whole bunch of things in life happen.

As a music listener its easy to have a fantasy in your head about music from how it inspired you.

She sang her heart out, she needed a break, even if she goes on to sing familiar music.

She even gave the band and Gautier an appreciation post.

Just because someone leaves a band, who was singing operatic voicings, with a person who's determined to produce a fine record, doesnt mean they'll be together forever.

If anything its a spark that happens very rarely that can be held as a flame for very long, Gautier music is firing on all cylinders, some people aren't built to do extreme experimental music for long.

Its an experiment and Gautier is producing this together with musicians he pieces together, his job is vastly different and complex in other ways than the musicians, in the same vein they have vastly different and complex jobs in the album than Gautier

No wonder I love this band so much.
Everything, literally everything, musically wise, performance wise (etc.), is fire (pun very much intended).

Absolutely fantastic documentary, thanks for putting it together. Still heartbroken to see Laure leave, she is one of my favourite vocalists across all genres.

I think this is the peak of humanity. We can't do more than this. I've been watching these clips and crying for a fair share of hours. I don't know what to say. My emotions are destroyed. In a good way. Which I didn't know was possible

Absolutely loved that video!
There's one thing I hated thought... I've been listening to Igorrr for 10 years now and Laure Le Prunenec has been an major part of the project since almost the beginning. I get that she left and that might have been painful, but the way you described her in that video is sad. You only mentioned only that she was a major pain in the ass to work with and there was absolutely no positive mention about the incredible emotional impact she had with her voice in that album.
The only fair thing to do in my opinion would be to remove that part from the documentary, it adds absolutely nothing except hurting her and her career.
After being a fan for so long, I was saddened when I heard that she left but was mostly fine with it since her replacement has a beautiful voice, but yeah, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth after that otherwise beautiful documentary
