The Raccoons performing a circus act to get to the food is actually pretty damn amazing! It shows that they have the cognitive ability make a plan, and execute that plan. And honestly, is significantly more amazing than just basic tool use. It's large-scale cooperation where each Racoon knows its role..Absolutely AMAZING!

So many of these were just heartbreaking for the wildlife involved. So very sad 😔.

The deer warts. I'm glad to know that those weren't giant ticks feasting on the deer's blood, like I had originally thought.

A trail cam of a Sasquatch carrying a sign saying "FIRST!" would have been nice.

Raccoons really do help each other escape. Two young ones were stunned when sensor lights caught them inside my six foot wooden fence. One let the other climb on top of it then begin pushing it's bottom with its hands so it could reach a level board. Then the one on the ground jumped as the other grabbed at its shoulders and they both made it over. I had to watch.

I actually saw a fawn once that had most of its body covered in white patches... It was very interesting to see how the rest of the group tried to hide the speckled deer fawn from our sight.. which told me they were aware that he didn't blend in as well! Beautiful sight so see.. I am thankful to be able to witness such beauty first hand!

Good eye on the ghillie suit. I was going to point that out after the video. I find most of these videos have a logical explanation.

Last summer when the northwest was on fire, it drove the young bucks down from the mountains into our small town and outline ranches where the does and babies tend to hang out all year. The little bucks at about 1 to 2 years do a lot of practicing with their emerging antlers, butting each other around. With the smoke so thick, they stayed near my apartment where a large park with swings and open fields gave them room to run around and the people in town gave them water and handouts while their high grazing areas burned. After a week or so they started getting bored and less frantic about the smoke and decided to stick around through fall. They get very friendly. And funny. I don't have a photo of this, but one day I heard them snorting outside the door to the porch, kicking the empty water bucket around like a football. I went to the door, and six little bucks trotted over and stood lined up all in a row, waiting for Cheerios. Each one of them had one full antler on one side and a half antler on the other. A neighbor just down from me explained, " Oh yes, they come to the park early in the morning before anyone else gets there. They butt each other around, and when they get tired of that they start in with the swings." This year, now that they are a bit older and are too dignified for such foolishness, they come back to strut around and show off lovely antlers, tall and even on both sides. And stare at the door waiting for Cheerios.

Looks like the deer in the thumbnail has leprosy, although that is usually caused by black mold spores

The weirdest thing i have seen on a trail cam was a picture of nothing literally there wasn't anything visible for miles. A day later on the same trail cam we saw a guy who aperently deleted a bunch of pictures off said trail cam.
