All you needed was your girlfriend sitting next to you and this song playingbon the

The Philadelphia writer and producer Thom Bell wrote this song about giving everything up for love, and is a great example of how in the soul music milieu, the word "stoned" often means "utterly devoted."

So grateful for being born when the instruments were played and the voices wrapped around the music telling a beautiful story without being vulgar. THEY STYLISTICS ARE LEGENDS

I loved the way Artists back in the day, bowed to the audience at the end of a song, showing their appreciation to their fans, pure class

This guy’s voice was as smooth as melted butter…on a warm Sunday morning… I especially love the song; I Can’t Give You Anything, But My Love. Talk an bonafide seventies CLASSIC.

I can remember waking up to songs like this as a kid. Mother always had a radio on somewhere in the house something I've picked up from her through the years. Very soothing.

We did this song for a show in college. Loved Them and Their songs. Don’t make them like this anymore! Pure talent and class.

Wikipedia – "I'm Stone in Love with You" is a 1972 single by the Philadelphia soul group The Stylistics. The song is noted for lead singer Russell Thompkins Jr.'s distinctive falsetto singing, which he employs through most of the record. The song was written by Thom Bell, Linda Creed, and Anthony Bell.

It was the first track from the band's 1972 album Round 2[2] and was released as a single which reached number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100.[1][3] It also climbed to number 4 in the Billboard R&B chart[3] and went to number 9 in the UK Singles Chart, in December 1972.[4] The Stylistics' recording sold over one million copies globally, earning them a gold disc[1] The award was presented by the RIAA on December 13, 1972.[1] It was the band's third gold disc.[1]
