Tucked just off Interstate 196 this nice KOA has full and partial hook up RV and tent sites in a shaded setting. The location also has a number of camper cabins that are a popular choice. The location is near the interstate but is relatively quiet and peaceful. There are a number of family-friendly amenities including a playground, a large pool, miniature golf, a bounce pillow, and volleyball court. There's a stocked store in the office.

The roads inside the park are paved while the sites are dirt, gravel, grass with mowed grass surround. Well kept the park is not fancy but suitable for short stays. Although it does have "St Joseph" in the name the location is about 10 miles away from the two areas near Lake Michigan.

There are a few seasonal sites within the park but most of the sites are reserved for short-term guests. As with most KOA locations there is a premium for the brand name but the park does have nice amenities and does a good job keeping the location spotless.
