Unit 3: Ancient Greece

In this unit we will learn about the Ancient Greek Civilization and other earlier civilizations in the Aegean such as the Minoans and Mycenaeans. We will explore city states such as Athens, Sparta and Corinth which shared culture but were never unified in the sense of an empire. We will explore Greek inventions such as democracy and marvel at their architecture, literature and ingenuity.
