Bay leaf typically has a slight camphorous facet, so maybe with the mint it gives a mentholated/camphor accord.

Sport would have been pretty nice but I totally understand why not. As someone who prefers Dior Homme Sport to the Homme, I'm the same with this. This is my favourite N&W - sprayed sample and can't stop smelling the back of my hand. Ordered a bottle and now going back and watching the videos on it. I was someone quite harsh on the original, liked it but didn't wow me... Something about this though has won me over.

Gravitas Essentia, very clever name Dan, to be honest I think is classier and exciting and not as predictable as Gravitas Sport could have been... congratulations!
