The point raised at the end of this is a huge one. You cannot listen to the headphones if the monitors are not turned up as well. Think of that! It makes this interface unusable for office size studios. No other interface I know of has this problem. Unfortunately I have one of these.

Curious how does it compare to the Focusrite Thunderbolt interface?

Hi, thanks for this informational review. The T4 seems to the interface I was looking for.
However I have one question: You mentioned that the output levels can only be adjusted togheter. It it still possible to send different signals to output 1/2 and 3/4 (for exaple stereo mix + metronome on 1/2 and stereo mix without metronome on 3/4)?

Great, in depth, quality review. I don't understand the thumbs down. How does the interface hold up after some time using it? What is your experience? Are you still using it? Would you recommend it, or have any worthy alternatives?

By the way, I really enjoyed your acoustic song.

TURN THE GAIN DOWN ON YOUR MIC, GET BETTER AT EDITING! THANK YOU!

Could you go into how much latency is experienced during live recording? I'm hoping to use the T4 as a means of recording and editing live instruments on the fly. Example: DI guitar into Ableton Live 9 utilizing Ableton onboard FX

I'm currently using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (USB3.0) and when I'm playing direct in, I experience about ~43ms latency. This sucks if I want to explore more technical guitar playing or if I want to use plug-ins include with the DAW and the my picking is noticeably out of sync with the monitors

Obviously a good work around would be to adjust the playback latency compensation, but if I'm recording multiple instruments while using multiple plug-ins, the difference in latency between instruments is hard to work with. Ideally, it would amazing to have 0ms latency but if the T4 can supply me with near 0ms latency I feel it would be easier to manage.

Thanks!

Well, it's one of the worst voice over mic sounds I've ever heard, that's for sure.

So are all 4 inputs hi z enabled?
Can you tell us what was the lowest latency you got from this interface?
I'm considering buying it plus a thunderbolt card for my PC
