I don't get it. The video clearly shows what the unit is best for. It is not for large gatherings or big venues. Yet people complain it's not loud enough, does not sound as good as blah blah. C'mon, it is a portable sound system that can be used as a batt op PA for busking, remote small weddings, a dj performing a small gathering, or a solo performer in a small coffee house. That being said:
This by far is the best product with the most features than ANY compact system of that size on the market today. The app alone is genius and way over engineered. There is so much flexibility in the app it is ridiculous in a good way. It will put off some who want just a plug and play turn one or two knobs sound system, but for those of us who want total control over our sound to fit any environment, nothing can compete right now. Suggestion to JBL: Either increase HF output to 40 watts, or increase the size of the HF driver to project mids better. The LF output is plenty for the size of the unit. We can sacrifice runtime of 12 hours down to 6 or 8 for the increased HF output or more mids.

The fatal drawback of this device is that there is no aux out terminal. So, it is not easy to connect with other speakers except eon one compact speaker. One compact speaker has a pass thru terminal instead of an aux out terminal, but this is for connection with another eon one compact speaker.
The aux in jacks of other speakers do not receive this pass thru signal.
So, you need to receive a pass thru signal from the guitar or line terminal of another speaker. But there is a problem here too. You cannot adjust the volume for each speaker. Volume can be controlled only in the eon one compact speaker, and the other speaker follows the volume of the eon one compact speaker. In the end, if you want to expand your speakers, you have to carry an audio mixer and perform street performances, or discard all the speakers you already have and buy only an eon one compact speaker.

I’ve never seen the words, “JBL Eon” and “Pro Audio” in the same sentence before. I thought this was going to be an ad for your, JBL VRX932LAP Powered PA Speaker Line-Array series. HAHA

Just kidding. I’ve always been very impressed with your JBL Eon series. They always do an excellent job for small, to medium sized rooms.

Scooter guy should also have strapped the speaker front to back. The way he did it, sudden acceleration will flip the speaker right off the back.
