Just when I coined 2024 my year of "Finally read that Malazan series which you bought just because Michael made them sound so exciting in his videos back then" there is a new video - i really had to laugh and squeak with excitement, which is always a good start to the new year. So happy to hear from you again. I wasn't good with writing comments and it still feels a bit weird to do that now, but I watched a huge amount of your old videos, bought way too many books because of them (which of course is not your fault) and really had to brush the dust of my account and say a proper: thank you! I learned so much about fantasy and found books, i haven't heard somebody mention before. I will have to get Dark Water Daughter, Will of the Many and that Django Wexler book now (here we go again 😂) Justice of Kings was one my favourites last year so I'm happy to hear the second sounds great too.

I am happy your did such a Top Video. You have so many books on goodreads, so this is a good catchup.
I did not read any of the shown books. Abercrombie is on my tbr for so many years now (the Klingenstuff) and I can remember that the series of Richard Swan has also been started in German. I think in the beginning the reviews were mixed, but it seems that if it is your jam, you will like it a lot.
