I got a quote from a solar company a few months ago that included a battery. It was 10kWh (9kWh usable) for about $10k. Your battery is about the same price for 4-5 times the capacity. Pretty impressive.

Oef that's a lot of garbage indeed. And a lot of money for a home battery!!! But then again it's also close to 10 times higher capacity than your average home battery so quite cheap from that perspective :) All very clearly explained, easy to understand for someone like me who doesn't have in depth experience on the topic.

70Wh per $ would mean that 1 cell at 128 dollars is 8960Wh, or 8, 9kWh. Or am I seeing this wrong.

Maybe I missed it, but the safety benefit of LiFePO is not to be ignored. You just can't get them to catch fire.

Seems like a lot of that foam could be repurposed as vibration dampening if you were building 12v battery boxes to help isolate the cells from the box and an internal bms. Or glue them together to make a solid block and use a hot knife to carve out seat cushions. 🤷‍♂️

I've been looking at the same EVE cells. Are you happy with your cells so far? I'll probably start with 1 48v pack, but there is a stocking warehouse local to me. How many BMS' are you going to run? Any preview at which BMS you are going with? Thanks for the video.

I have made myself 3 years ago a 24 volt Volt LIfepo4 80 Amp battery and another new one 24 Volt 120 Amp....with Daly BMS...1 with Bluetooth....the Balancer inside the cheaper BMS is only 50 mA...passive..a joke with High currante Lifepo4 Battery, s....
I have ordered an extra 5 Amp Active Balancer...

How much kWh you are consuming per month? And how much one kWh costs in Holland? I calculated only the battery price, without solar grids, cables, installation, etc. and with very rough calculations - This is the amount of money I will spend on electricity for 30 years
