Konami really thought Snake eye fiendsmith isn't broken enough. So they gave them a fusion practically just for them, that draws a card when they hand trap.

God forbid you have to carefully consider what cards to add to your second hand

Honestly I think adding more good support via the extra deck is the best way to do it. Because space is so hard to make it means players have to make real decisions when building and planning. I like it.

I'm kind of surprised how different the Western format is compared to OCG. It seems a little more interesting in terms of options but holy moly, if Konami was ever gonna pull the trigger on increasing the extra deck size, now would be a great time.

I played against fiendsmith vaalmonica and fiendsmith memento at nationals, and aerial eater was crazy good in memento being able to set up goblin in grave for full memento combo, while vaalmonica could just do everything they wanted after baiting out interrupts with fiendsmith.

I'm sure there was a lot more direct synergy, but I ashed requiem both games against vaalmonica, and she still destroyed me with vaalmonica stuff afterwards lol.

Necroquip not only makes engraver a one card combo, but also makes the spell card a one card as well. So you can run 3 engraver 3 tractus for a possible rank 6 play
