A lot of 311 songs seem easy at first glance, but what makes them unique is the precision of the rhythm and accents that go into the songs. If you learned to play Down from watching this video, you did not actually learn it.

simple powerchords but intricate strumming patterns and harmonics. this guy is doing it wrong. it might take 5 min. to learn how to wing it but it takes alot of time before it starts to sound like Tim Mahoney!
