I farm with a 4690. Pull a 30.5' 980 JD Field Cultivator in the spring and a 30' Cast DOT disk and Killbros grain cart in the fall.

Had a 4694 rigid frame, engine had good power, pulled a 32ft 496 disc & a 10x18 800 plow. Transmission went out with less than 2000 hours, traded the 4694 for a 876 Versatile & never had any problems with the 876.

I run a small CASE IH tractor on our small farm in England model is a 1394 built at the then CASE IH factory in Yorkshire it has a modest by your standards 72hp and the partial power shift transmission called hydra shift it mainly does pasture care jobs and delivers bales of haylage to horse customers

4994 was the best We had 2 red ones and 1 white. Pulled 10x18's all day long.

Neighbors have a 4890 they use on a Kinze 16/31 and a 4690 they don't do alot with besides some minor tillage.
