BYD will hit 1.78 million units sold, and next year they aiming for 4 million...global beastmode

BYD is just one of those. The EV market in China is more competitive than the rest of the world combined. It's like the NBA in the US comparing to the rest of the world. Tesla is leading in many countries simply because of lack of competition.

There is no "EV Market". There is a car/truck market. Tesla, BYD, and other EV makers are taking market share from ICE manufacturers. It really does not matter if Tesla turns out to be the second or third largest global vehicle manufacturer. What matters is that Tesla continues to grow and manages to maintain their profitability.

Add up the next 10 Chinese EV makers and you get another 2 BYD’s.
Westly is talking his book and is no doubt seeing the writing on the wall but attempting to diminish the massive challenge Tesla has in China, and soon to be Europe.

I see no ramping up of EVs in the US. Only tesla is ramping up in the US. In 5 years Tesla and China will be making all the EVs.

Scott is so negative and everything. As a long-term Tesla shareholder, you should not be worried about the short term sells to find the Twitter deal if you were long and you have a long time horizon, then who cares about that. You will just keep on buying more of the lower it goes down.
