Interesting this turned up on the same day they added the requirement of taking the wayfarer test to that system to use it. I wonder if this is the first phase of sweeping changes to pokestop nominations

this is great that they're making the game more player friendly. I jus wish they'd do something about the low rate of gym coins. Not everyone can afford to max out bag space or any of that

Just found the cells beside my house and unfortunately the two S2 cells already have a stop in them each so no ability to add more.

I’ve seen Poké stops on top of each other especially in Zaragoza

I nominated a pokestop 5m away from another pokestop. There is even an arena at basically the same place. One is a church and one is a statue at this church. The second arena pair is one Statue and One Frame at a building.

Since the start of the game where i was there was a pokestop right on top of a gym that was super hard to tap on and still is

Why do some places clearly have larges clusters of pokestops not respecting s2 cells?

I’ve found multiple instances of pokestops that are stacked in downtown cities. It’s hard to click them both, but that’s why you get a gotcha

Hey Daxi, does this mean that previous nominations that were accepted but not there due to the distance, will show up since they now meet distance requirements?

Makes me curious if there are waypoints in unique S2 cells that are less than 20 meters from an existing pokestop that will be springing into existence now.

I’ve nominated 5 stops. All within guide lines and in areas where community involvement in the game is low. Lots of small towns with 1 stop etc. Every. Single. Time. They are rejected for bs or sometimes it will say “no rejection criteria”. The system is stupid and Pokemon go’s own player base is killing the game. I went through and approved about 15 submissions in 1 hour and got suspended from approving due to the speed I was approving. Now I just click through and leave my phone open for 10+ minutes to make the AI think I’m reading etc.

A lot of my nominated and verified pokestops don't show up because they are close. Now some of them will show up. Wow.
