I am now 100% sure that I am the only wierd one who likes Meowscarada the most among all starters. It's signature move is awesome, sprigatito is definitely the cutest kitten and dark type is already high on my liking charts

Meowscarada has a similar silhouette to Blaziken but if it were a grass jester cat rather than a fire fighting rooster. And that makes its design even better.

Fun Fact: Lokix is actually designed after Kamen Rider, a long-running tokusatsu supwrhero series that’s incredibly popular in japan. A lot of the earlier riders were based off of grasshoppers, including the original Kamen Rider as well as Kamen Rider Black and Black RX, which Lokix seems to draw the most heavily from. Riders are famous for their finishing move being a leap to the aky into flying kick. It’s a black grasshopper that jumps high and performs aerial kicks, this couldn’t be more heavy-handed if they tried
