Awesome! Does the timing of when they drop their sheds effect the next years growth? For instance, a buck I was hunting last year didn't drop until April 1st, so will his growing season be cut short and not express the full rack potential?

My question is does it itch or bother the deer before the antlers pop off? I have seen them just before they have lost an antler and they seem to behave like it itches something awful.

Why do I see some deer in my area still having there fall antlers until the end of March even seen early April then in June I finally see them with no antlers while some are already growing there new set i could see there being a week or 2 difference but these bucks are like a month or 2 behind ive seen them still have velvet in October im yet to see a buck with a really big rack do this but ive seen small 8pts ..when I say big racks im saying 120-130
