I never say these things… I remember I was in a dark place with depression, I was really sad at work where I almost quit. I remember handing in my two weeks and my kind boss told me how much I was worth it to the team and told me things would get better and I stayed. Although it was nice to hear kind words, things were still going south for me. My relationship with my fiancé was going downhill and I legit remember when I found out that she had been talking to another dude behind my back. I was a grown ass dude at 24 yrs old and I didn’t know how to cope. I legit thought about the 5 letter word until one day I came across Jon Skywalker who was inspired by Zyzz. In the vid this song captures my attention and I remember listening to it over and over and the motivation washed over me. I began working out and it helped me physically and mentally. I was so glad that this inspired me and to this day whenever I hear it I tell myself I’ve made it. Everyone has a way to make it and I hope this song doesn’t find anyone alone. Things are much better now and I’m glad I got through it. I’m back into my workout routine and this time I’m hoping to make some aesthetic progress. Dieting is the HARDEST part of all this. It truly sucked being depressed and in an incredibly low time of my life, but you know what? Even though you find yourself alone you gotta push yourself out of that slump and not let darkness win. You got this.
