PORSCHE GT4 981 VS 718 - It should be illegal to have this much fun | Chasing the Apex Car Review

PORSCHE GT4 981 VS 718, the forever argument, this versus, mine is better, no mine. NO MY PORSCHE IS BETTER, well we got tired of hearing it, and we went to get some help. We enlisted not only our very own Fast Guy Steve (who doesn't turn on cameras), George from my favorite Partner Yc Auto Group, and the folks from Valt Auto Club (I suspect you'll see more of them around).

Anways, so we put them together, we took the two Porsche Legends, the Cayman Monsters, and tried to find the differences, and to be honest, they're quite subtle street, and this goes back to my forever statement, it's very difficult to understand the true capability of these cars in just a road review, especially with both the 981, and the 718 being purpose built track cars. Were there differences absolutely, and did we find some, totally. The real question is if one is forced to choose between the PORSCHE GT4 981 VS 718 which would win out?

We did our damndest to find out in what I think is a pretty epic review, mind you there's not as much cinematics going on here, but we fit as much substance as we could on the different driving experience as I could pack into a 9 minute Car Review.

Thanks for a great video! I have a 718 GT4 and a 981S and love them both. The 981S is my daily and the one I put the most miles on. It sees the track about 10 times a year. The GT4 is awesome, love everything about it, I’ll keep it as long as I can drive.
