Hello sir, I'm having a hard time using time-based effects as our band uses an external metronome. Is there a way to sync these effects to start on my key press and not the master clock? Or is there a way to use the external metronome to control MainStage?

Division - I wish it had more capabilities! What about 8th or triplets? Why only 16ths? PS Have watched so many of your videos - you're a rockstar!

When I enter the performance tab can I still access the metronome? Also can I assign a pedal to start/stop the metronome and if so how?

Thanks for the video. I learned a couple things from it. One thing I’m still struggling with is how to add a metronome count in. I’ve searched every where and can’t find the answer. Either it is so obvious or Mainstage doesn’t support a count in. I would appreciate any assistance you could give.

I don't like the sounds available in Klopfgeist very much tbh. Is there a more of a snare or stick sounding metronome I can find/download somewhere?

Hey there! At church we have two computers: #1 Ableton running click & tracks, #2 Mainstage for keys. I was wondering if there is any way to sync Mainstage's clock with Ableton's click? Or is this impossible? Haha

Just watched the video in the link below about the aggravate device. Quick question... Do all 4 outputs still feed to the sound board through the headphone jack or do Outputs 1 & 2 have to feed out separately then Outputs 3 & 4? I My laptop currently connects to the soundboard through the headphone jack so I wasn’t sure based on that video if I’m doing something wrong???

What if I'm Edit mode, just enjoying playing, and I want to change the tempo of the metronome. I don't know anything about setting the tempo for Concerts. This might be a situation many new users to MainStage might find themselves in. Apple's MainStage "Control the metronome in MainStage" doesn't help give you any help to change the tempo. How do you do it? EDIT: I found out how: File > Concert Settings; In Concert Settings, it's the Timing tab that has a Tempo section; In Timing tab, click Custom button and set the tempo slider to what you want. The MainStage Help topic that covers this is entitled, "Overview of tempo in MainStage".

I’m not sure if this is something you guys do, but is there any chance we could get that patch that you use in this video? It sounds so good, and I would love to add it on to a project I’m doing.

Is there a way to program a stop button on the KORG controller to turn off the metronome when one might want to ritard the tempo?

Thanks for your help! Could you help me with the following problem?

I'm looking for a way to reset the click (downbeat), for example with a simple tap on a button for when the band is out of sync with the click. The only way to do that seems to be tapping the play button, but that cuts off all of the sound. It's like Mainstage resets its sound engine when hitting play again.

The same problem occurs when playing free for a while and than start the click at a desired time, the sound will just drop out.

Do you know a workaround for this? Thanks a lot for your time!

Greetings from Holland! :)

Hi there, what can I do if I need different bpm depending on the song? Or if in the same concert I have more than one patch with an arpeggiator where I need different bpm?

Do you guys have a good solution for switching between different songs and tempos and Time Signatures? ie. Song 1 125 BPM 4/4 to Song 2 100 bpm 6/8. It'd be great to pre-program this so we can switch with the click of a button.

Hello, do you know if it is possible to change the division value as you do in Logic Pro? Thanks!

Can you assign the Met to buttons so you can trigger them for each song?

My wife and I lead worship and are considering investing in a keyboard rig with Mainstage and Sunday Sounds but I have a quick question. She plays piano now and tends to transpose a lot of the songs we do. Can this be done with Mainstage and is it patch specific? Thanks for all the great videos!
