I love the rotary dial on the AX200, but I do not need a CD player in my car in any way, shape, or form. My question is, is there a similar model to the AX200 that has the dial and color options WITHOUT that useless cd/dvd player? Thanks!

My dealership pre-fitted this unit into my Swift Sport. Gotta be honest for me is not mindblowing or anything but gets the job done. Don't know why they prefer this over the factory Suzuki unit here where I live, I guess it is what it is.

Extremely informative video, I was trying to figure out exactly what's different between this and the 5000 since this has a volume knob which is a must for me, guess I'll have to get this one

here are a few minor improvements that need to be made in the next updates: With a non stop DJ mix CD, I had a Jenson model I exchanged out that would pause about a half second in between tracks, this one is alot better but it goes into the next track too fast with a slight noticeable beat advanced.. The seeking options during playback with CD or USB file only advances a few seconds ahead at a time when holding the arrow buttons when it should start off slow and then faster the longer you hold those seeking buttons down.. Or even better off you should be able to move the progress bar into a different position of the tracks.. If you have a DJ mix set mp3 file that's over an hour long it's impossible to get into the middle or end of it without holding the seek button down for a long time.. I hope Sony updates these things..

Why does Sony screened units always have only one rca for their subwoofer output? I know you can use a Y-spliter but that would change the sound wee a bit. I've never used a unit with only one rca sub output. Why is that Sony does that? Other Sony single din units uses 2 rca outputs for subwoofer even that GSX uses Left and Right rca outputs.
I'm just wondering but im not going to lie their double din units look dope!!

Can somebody explain what the physical forward/backward buttons exactly do in the XAV-AX200 model while listening to the radio? I mean, do they jump from one preset to another? Or do they simply emulate the on-screen seek buttons (either manual or automatic)? By the way, I suppose that while playing a CD they allow jumping from one track to another, right?
