Really good advice, have a sub ! If I could travel back in time and give my younger self some advice, it would be this : don't waste time trying to beat the market by chasing hot stocks. It's a waste of time and nobody can do it consistently. Put everything you make into a low-cost Vanguard fund and then DON'T SELL, whatever happens. Hang in there, and let the market do its work.

Great advice. I opened a Vanguard account to get a pension account and followed what you did to pension age. I'm going to close my NHS pension, I always close it when I change hospitals and spend the money immediately. Now I am going to put it in investments with the lump sum and pretend I still make the amount when I had the NHS pension to automatically put that in one of my investments. Thank you very much. I was so upset when I saved 1000 at my bank and only got 1p as interest

I read "Money Master the Game" by Tony Robbins a few years ago. Good book, but took about 600 pages to explain what you just told us in less than 20 minutes! Invaluable advice, probably the most important investment advice a young person could be given. Good work.

I’ve just opened a vanguard Isa account and paid in £500. I bought the lifestyle 100 equity fund A acc.

That was all down to the information in your video buddy. I’ve been trying to learn and your content made it simple and understanding. As I am due to retire in 24 years and I only have a standard basic work pension so i've been relaying on my house as a pension pot! I've just open my Vanguard ISA with a view of putting in £100 per month to see how it goes (to see if I lose) and if its ok to increase this amount. Before I found your video's I would never have dreamed that I could afford to buy stocks and shares, and I'd never heard of compound interest. Plus i never thought I might be able to have a tax free lump sum at retirement! Thank you for your great context.
