DICE CHESS TOURNAMENT IN JURMALA, LATVIA!

We invite you to our first Latvian Dice Chess Championship 2020! It is a unique and exciting chess spinoff, in which an element of luck is presented by three dice.
The game has its own ancient history formed in India and Persia somewhere around 6th century AD. Then it used to be called "Chaturanga" that transformed throughout ages and is called Dice Chess nowadays.
The event will take place at 12pm on September 13th at the "Jurmala Spa Hotel." Winners will be awarded various gifts and money prizes.

Bughouse chess (also known as exchange chess, Siamese chess (not to be confused with makruk), tandem chess, transfer chess, double bughouse, cross chess, swap chess or simply bughouse or bug) is a popular chess variant played on two chessboards by four players in teams of two. Normal chess rules apply, except that captured pieces on one board are passed on to the teammate on the other board, who then has the option of putting these pieces on their board.

Fischer random chess, also known as Chess960, is a variation of the game of chess invented by former world chess champion Bobby Fischer. Fischer announced this new game variation on June 19, 1996, in La Plata, Argentina. Fischer random chess employs the same board and pieces as standard chess, but the starting position of the pieces on the players' home ranks is randomized, following certain rules. The random setup makes gaining an advantage through the memorization of openings impracticable; players instead must rely more on their spontaneous talent and creativity over the board.
