Dark and ominous sounds are heard at the beginning with Oriental hints and percussive effects. Harmonically adventurous throughout, this is sure to be an exciting and rewarding piece for beginning players.

As a percussionist im currently learning this on gong, rainstick, anvil, & sus. Cymbal, measure 54-67 is my favorite, I love the brass in the background

Beginner saxophonist here. I’ve barely been playing for like a month and a half while being surrounded by people who’ve been playing for years. This is one of the songs we’re doing for our concert in March. My band teacher absolutely loves this song and made it a have to. I also love how it sounds even though it’s a little challenging for me. Wish me luck.

Something i always hated about the bands i was in in school was that the flutes were too quiet, like they have such a beautiful sound but i can never hear them
