So just to make sure im understanding correclty

so long story short SBA doesnt really matter anymore these days because alot of teachers/schools tend to inflate the marks of the students so now the students just write and receive their raw marks(final term 4 marks) so its not counted really anymore.
but
your statement of results (final mark)/Your APS score and your NBT and Nsc certificate are the main and only things really to get into university

This is great because, im an independant learner im in grade 12 but im not in a school and im just soley preparing for my grade 12 final exams at the department of education Umalusi in november.
and im looking into attending a public governement learning center that can provide me with classes in the meantime

do u think because im not rewriting im actually first time writting that they will allow me to do so? at both learning center
and do u think the fact that i wasnt at a school is going to affect my chances of getting into university?

Hi LiraM, as for me I am rewriting 3 subjects which include math and physics. I did get good grades for all these subjects and were all close to 70%, only that I wasn't satisfied. I was initially admitted at my desired uni for what I wanted at that time, dropped out. I don't really remember my sba but I was playing around that percentage(Upper 60s). I'm aware you have mentioned it but this is just for clarity, say that I get 90% on my exams, does it mean that, my sba will be overridden then I will see 90% in my matric certificate?

I just finished university and want to go back for a different degree. I matriculated in 2020 with good results. I had A's for all my other 6 subjects, but did badly in Math and Physics due to the fact that I wasn't practicing in Covid. I want to rewrite Math and Physics. When i rewrite will my sba from matric vanish and I'll be able to get a new certificate?

Hi my question is if in matric you did math and science and fail your matric ;you re write math physical science fail then another year you rewrite the same subjects ..fail again then you decide to change and write histroy geography you pass but when you go and combine but they tell you dont qualify what do you do

If my finale mark which is the finale exam if its getter then my Sba by like 10%-15% will they scratch out the Sba mark n just take my finale it possible for me to go from a 50% to 90%

I passed matric in 2009 with NSC, i registered online through dbe but it's for SC, i want to know if i can do the NSC in November and if i can still go and register for it cause i am not ready for exams
