Who built the Olmec Heads?
The Olmec colossal heads are sculpted from large basalt boulders. They range in height from 3.8 to 11.2 ft. The heads date from at least 900 BC and are a distinctive feature of the Olmec civilization. They probably represent portraits of powerful individual Olmec rulers.
The Olmec heads show happy or frowning faces and they always wear weird helmets. These sculptures have been found at archaeological sites in Mexico. The Olmec Were the First Major Mesoamerican Culture. The Olmec Heads clearly have African features and is unknown how Africans reached Mexico at the time. There are 17 colossal heads in four different sites. Dating them is difficult but we know for sure they were buried into the ground around 900 BC for mysterious reasons and that makes them older than 900 BC. The smallest weigh 6 tons, while the largest weigh 40 to 50 tons. The heads were each carved from a single basalt boulder and were transported 100 km or more to their final destination. That lives unanswered the question.

The Olmecs existed in my home country El Salvador too and I’m sick of people trying to push that lie that they were Africans. wide noses and big lips are not exclusive to Africans. Many people around the world have those features. They are very common in indigenous peoples of Mexico and Central America. They were NOT African. The prognathism of African people does not match the heads either.

My whole family from Mexico. My mom's side from Puebla. Near Mexico City. They're all dark but 1 of my aunts and my cousins could get mistaken as African Americans. Also I have Salvadoran family through marriage. And they're also very dark with afros.

Lol go down to Mexico & you will see there are still indigenous people that resemble the Olmec heads. Broad lips & wide noses aren’t just an African feature. African heads aren’t square like that. Those are Native to the Americas features.
