A photovoltaic park with an installed capacity of one million kilowatts is being built in north China's Kubuqi Desert.

Mean while Americans are talking about nuke war for the millionth time, China is generating energy through vision, Creativity, Technical expertise, teamwork and Sheer will of force to achieve while what America has not or refuses to because it’s not “economically viable”.
I am an American and I am impressed with what China is doing with their infrastructure projects such as this.

This is impressive. I wonder if battery storage also forms a part of the system. Also I noticed that some of the solar farm has grass and wondered if this will be extended across the whole site to stabilise the sand, protecting the panels from abrasion during sandstorms & preventing further desertification.
