Breaking into another dimension from the immense power of their energy beams and then busting out of it from the force of their collision was such a sick, abstract idea and might be the coolest thing ive seen yet in dragonball.

8:37 What I like about Gogeta’s Kamehameha to finish off Broly is that it somewhat resembles SSJ4 Gogeta’s Big Bang Kamehameha in a way (a big orb with a huge beam that shoots from it. For people who don’t see my point). I kinda wish they made that move canon and one of Gogeta’s actual attacks

NGL, when I first seen this fight, I was one of those people that was like “cmon now how tf does it take Gogeta going Blue just to beat Broly” but I’ve come to realize and accept that with Dragon Ball Super, it’s moreso about the spectacle and supplying entertaining fights than trying to keep up with power scaling and this fight specifically is a nod to OG DBZ gamers that played the Budokai series with Budokai 3’s opening having Gogeta fighting Broly and if I’m not mistaken, BT3’s opening also had them clashing. Super may not make sense scaling wise but I do appreciate its effort in supplying good fight scenes and if you’re more so focused on the story aspect of Super, that’s where the manga comes in. Anime is for fights, manga is for story
