Thank you. I can see that the alternative to faith in Christ is self-reliance which leads to spiritual ruin. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is clinging to God’s promises. Taking Him at His word. Trusting in His love and His faithfulness.
