Definitely not the truck from duel. The only surviving truck is currently at brads classic truck museum. They were all peterbilts 281 and 351 models. The trailer was a 50s fruehauf tanker

If I’m not mistaken the truck used was a peterbilt, this one was a lesser known truck manufacturer. All this aside though, it does pair a striking resemblance to the one in the film

A 1960 Peterbilt was used in that 1971 Duel, similar to this 50s truck, the Horn on the center of the roof is missing . Kool find man

There were several trucks in the movie. Everyone from about 1955. 281 and 351 models. The tanker trailer a 1948 Fruehof. 33.5ft long. 6-16-2024
