NRG is still one of the best teams in the world. However, T1's even battle against NRG so far proves that the FPS and level in Asia have risen. Looking back, I lost to FURIA during Lock/in, so my expectations weren't high, but I'm honestly surprised that T1 has become such a great team. Although the style is different from the same Korean DRX, their strategy and game plan discipline showed really good things.

It was really a paper-thin difference. T1 came back from 0-7 at Pearl, but unfortunately lost 11-13. That said, T1 could have won had Ardiis not been in the operator zone.
In fact, EG and T1 performed better than expected in this group stage. These two teams are definitely his black horses for the Masters this time around.

Struggled a lot, but NRG (formerly Optic) has now made the playoffs in every stage of the Masters. I think their real match will start from here, so I'm looking forward to the playoffs.
Nt for T1. They really put up a better fight than we could have imagined. They definitely have a very high quality players and it's great to see Xeta, Sayapleyer and Ban, who once fought in the NA region, are now united as one team.
Their strategy and discipline were never bad, so they still have a chance to make the playoffs, but they need to win a rematch against EDG in the lower bracket or beat Navi. ※salute their potential today and I hope T1 make it to the playoffs.

Dude, Sayaplayer has nothing but cold. Really this guy is an underrated duelist. He's definitely better disciplined and AIMed than he was in The Guard, and he does his job as a duelist perfectly. Even though lost the game, He looks like the MVP of this game to me.

I was honestly impressed with the T1. To be honest, I didn't expect to have such a good match against NRG…🥹 They are still a long way from a team like Asia's promises like DRX, but they have definitely improved their strategy, discipline and set-pieces.
Also, some of you who watched the 2021 and 2022 NA VCT may have some impressions of the current T1 members. Ace of the guard, Sayaplayer, great Sova player for C9, Xeta and Autumn coach. Ban who belonged to Knights. I love how they used to fight in the NA region but are now united as a team. Hopefully we can beat EDG/Navi in the lowers and make the playoffs!

If ardiis didn't hit those sick shots on the latter part of their match on pearl, I think T1 would have win the game but ardiis showed up when it matters the most. Plus the compusure and coordination of NRG saved them that match. Nothing to take away from T1 they did great against one of the best team in the world. If ardiis keeps playing like this then they're in pretty good hands.

ban is gonna have nightmares about that last round on pearl, if he was just aimed in, that's pretty much 2 kills, if he gets those two it goes to overtime potentially. he's gonna be ripping his hair out lmao, nrg win tho lfg

That's some toe-to-toe battle, but damn props to xeta and Sayaplayer for their aces
very rare occurrence against NRG

Munchkin vs Crashies is something I never knew I needed to see.

Two sub-duelists with high kill potential going blow for blow is just pure madness. Munchkin definitely my favorite player in T1. Mad respects for the both of them

Just look at this result. At least T1 is many times better than Navi. I really hope T1 can make it to the playoffs tomorrow.

※Supplement.
As a 2021 C9 fan, it's great to see Xeta and Coach Autumn making great progress in T1 as well. Now he's an IGL and like Stax he's one of the best callers in Korea and has an excellent IGL and brains.
Sayaplayer has also been really consistent since The Guard and is one of the better if not the best duelists in the world. Most of the rounds he does his job as a duelist and seems to be a great fit for team.

A bit off topic, but people in Twitch chat were saying that Valorant esports is "dead" because only 23k people were watching.
I haven't watched other esports, but is that really such a low number???? Just confused
