I am 65 years old. Most of the things, musically speaking, from my younger days I find sadly lacking (maybe it's because I don't have a bong anymore). But Steely Dan is still on my list. I've been listening to The Dan for nigh on 50 years and they still astonish me with every thing about them. If you are a Steely Dan fan, you know what I mean.

I’m 27 and I have listened to Steely Dan since I was a child thanks to my parents. I rarely meet people my age who know them. Sucks for them I guess

You cannot compare this band to any other because no other is comparable. Simple fact!

I sincerely feel sorry for people who (for whatever reason) haven't been listening to Steely Dan's compositions over the years.
There should be a non-profit charity that we can donate money to for people who are deaf to their music. It's so sad, I really wanna
help them. Educate them. Enlighten them. Make them better people thru Danism

Those guitar solos were so well crafted during the original recording they are set in stone as part of the songs.

I don't like to compare bands, but come on these guys are the best.

It was Steely Dan and the Allman Brothers - the best American bands. The lyric, compositions, instrumentation - what Larry Carlton brought to this band is astonishing. I have never stopped listening to them.

This was my dad's favourite song, he always said he wanted to have it at his funeral, he died last month and it was the first song that they played ❤

My wife and I were at this concert - I still remember the half-drunk guy next to us who, after every song, would chant “Kid Charlemagne! Kid Charlemagne!” He got his wish. Last time I ever got to see Cornelius Bumpus live. RIP.

Very impressed with Jon Herrington's guitar work on this, my favorite SD song. Very comparable to Larry Carlton's original.

Steely Dan, Pine Knob, warm summer evening, party favors, and sitting on the lawn- that's all the ingredients for a blissful experience.
