I just wanted to write how the citizens in South Korea view 'unity.'

As a korean, we've always been educated that "we should unite with North Korea" in school, and this video is one of the reasons that they usually tell us. Actually, one of the bigger reasons we always talk about is the families who were divided due to the Korean war. (It's really heartbreaking to see the elderlies meet their sisters and brothers and cry when they see each other after a few years....)
But unfortunately almost nobody actually expects unity to happen... I just guess time has passed a little too much. And except the families who were divided, (as a person in South Korea) we don't really 'feel' the people in North Korea as the same 'Korean, ' so therefore nobody actually finds the need to unite... it's quite sad...

note how south korea would have overpopulation as the northern citizens would rush to the more stable south meaning south korea would have to highly develop the north making them lose money. Separatists would also grow in number. China and USA would intervene depending on who runs the government. If its democratic, china would sanction them heavily and stage coups to stop an american ally on their borders. If its an autocracy, the US would do the same. The state would have to be an absolute neutral state to survive. Its not possible

As an Indian I understand the pain of partition of koreans because we also went through the same tragedy. I hope to see both- India, Pakistan and- North Korea, South Korea united one day
