Honestly I think Zilla wins intellect. He managed to hide in New York City from everyone, evaded choppers and outsmarted them. Stayed hidden underground and avoided detection doing so, and escaped most of the military’s traps.

If he’s made of stone, Zilla solos. He casually broke buildings, chomped through metal, and yeah. You may pull out the fact he couldn’t chomp through a car, but he also bit right through an Apache. Like, no pause for crunching. The Apache just disappeared into his mouth. He also easily breaks through hardened concrete when burrowing, with ease, and he is far more agile. His hide is strong enough to survive two torpedoes, or 2 tons of TNT. The troll, by comparing, is only about 150 feet tall while Zilla is 177 feet. So he has the size. Strength is also going to Zilla. He busted through buildings with ease, digs through concrete for a living, and yeah. He’s more intelligent because he used tactics to fight the Apaches. Maybe it's just me, but the third act of Troll movie look similar to Godzilla 1998 especially with cat chase scene, military trap, death of the beast and the moment when giant look on the main character while life forces leaving him.

Small correction, the monster in the movie is Godzilla by trademark. The later uses of him are Zilla. Saying this because Zilla implies Rulers of Earth Zilla who would probably win with negative difficulty.
