Really like this wind turbine, it reminds me of a pin-wheel. I could totally see a couple of these in the garden to power garden lights

Very nice experiment! Love your work and explanations and walk through. You are a great teacher!

Hi, I'm in Australia. We have been using 'wind generators' for over 100 yrs. We have tried a lot of designs to improve the old "Dunlite Windgenerator".
What your doing is bloody awesome, keep it going.

I think it would work superbly as a tidal turbine. The waistcoat- superb. Very nice handkerchief. Clothes befitting a gent and a scholar.

You are exactly on track with what have thought for a long time. Golden ratio capture and conversion of the wind for most efficient processing of it and a way for excess pressure to mediate or pass through so as not to stress the the prop. Putting these in an array, minimize with magnetic bearing any resistance. Make them cheap, small, modular and easy to replace. Cost effective wind conversion anywhere to get the ROI right up asap.

I just love your videos Robert Murray Smith. So enthusiastic, joyful as well as a brilliant and very practical Engineer. I wish there was someone selling these as kits they are an amazing piece of kit. 🙏

It is astounding on how quickly and regularly you put out videos

I'd love to see an Archimedes turbine mounted vertically inside a Darwin turbine. They look like they were made for eachother.

Brilliant - supersize it, get some parabolic funnels on top, add some gearing and it'll power the Tardis - wonderful stuff Robert

Dear Robert, I would love to see a huge 3D printed version, even if it needed to be printed in parts, put together and then get an amperage reading to see what energy the surface area achieved.
Thank you for your interesting and educational time here .

the best part is the joy that comes from putting it to the test.

That's impressive. I would love to see this installed totally complete waterproof and everything have it working for at least six months and see what the readings are on a daily basis. Love to build one of these.

brilliant video! I just watched a video for the new Liam F1 wind turbine and this was suggested - great to see how these experiments have a potential commercial application!

You look a bit like a super villain holding that in public. :)

Very nice. The shape is just like a Lilly impeller used to efficiently circulate water in huge cisterns so it won't become stagnant.

Beauty!! My phone requires 20 watt hours max to charge. If we could measure a 2 watt hour output, given your approx 30V output, we would only need about 66 milliamps to have a wonderful camp side charger!! AND it's wonderful to watch it spin!
