Ugliest city in the Netherlands? Says who? It definetely not the pretties, but you can do a lot worse. Because we do choose ugliest cities and Almere, Lelystad and Nieuwegein always rank very high on those lists. Fairly new citys with no notable landmarks and lots of cheap concrete buildings. Maybe try Heerlen next... That city is truly depressing.

well done showcasing a few interesting places, i recently had my first short visits to Tilburg. It didn't impress me but still ranks above lelystad, almere, zoetermeer, purmerend, heerlen and is maybe on par with eindhoven. I got the notion the city had relatively many poor neighborhoods

As a Tilburger for almost 7 years now i can confirm Tilburg definitely not the prettiest city in The Netherlands.
But i have to admit, they try to make things better for the past years. I like the Lochal (public library) and the Piushaven (small innercity harbour), but if you want to stroll through a nice city center in Noord-Brabant on a weekend day, i'd go to Den Bosch or Breda. Having lived in Eindhoven as well for quite a few years, i'd consider that as not one of the prettiest cities also.

De titel van je video sprak mij wel aan. Want deze week had ik het er nog over met een maat van me. Wat is Tilburg toch een lelijke stad aan het worden. Ik woon al 41 jaar in Tilburg en ik heb altijd geroepen "als Tilburg maar niet zo lelijk wordt als Eindhoven". Nee het wordt nog lelijker. De binnenstad is sfeerloos en kaal. Het nieuwe Tilburg Forum Binnenstad is ook geen verbetering. Een heel groot plein, wat kaal en grijs is, Volgens mij is dat project nog niet klaar, maar man man man waar gaat het heen. Ik ken niet alle steden van Nederland, dus ik kan niet zeggen dat Tilburg de lelijkste is van Nederland.
