Amy Huffer graduated with her master’s in social work from the University of Oklahoma and is an OSU Ph.D. candidate in early childhood education where she supports research efforts in the field of infant and early childhood mental health. She has been endorsed by the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health as an Infant Mental Health Mentor.

Extremely important message but lacks a personal side I kept waiting to see where David was from and what early intervention would look like.

This was required viewing for my school and I have some criticisms. The biggest one is this idea that we can save money on prisons through funding ECE, without criticizing s system locking up mentally ill kids.

I don’t like the assumed trauma of the adolescent who doesn’t do well in school and doesn’t have their eyes set on college. Perhaps they have a learning disability the school isn’t accommodating for. The U.S. school system especially seems lacking for that. Also college isn’t for everyone so I wouldn’t say that this is indicative of anything. Appreciate the insight though
