That man had a right to spend whatever he wanted to on a vehicle. That valet worker didn’t have the right to take his vehicle anywhere . His job was to see that it was properly parked. It was not the owners fault that the hotel employed a dishonest employee. 😡😡😡

If you have a nice car, ask the valet where he'd like the car parked, park it yourself, and keep the keys. Don't give individuals making $15 dollars an hour, access to your $100k+ vehicle.

I worked for a valet company about 10 years ago. I’ll never let anyone park my car. I was blamed for things I didn’t do to protect the supervisors buddy, had supervisors walk off the job early to go drink next door, had higher ups blatantly come out and say that because they were worked to the bone when they were new, they were going to do it to everyone else. As soon as a car came back damaged they immediately walk away from the car to pass the buck to someone else to take the blame for it. Just a grimey no class industry. DONT LET ANYONE PARK YOUR CAR, do it yourself and get the extra exercise. They WILL damage it.

Don’t go to Baltimore. Recently, a Cuban immigrant from PA went with his high school buddy to buy a used car off FB marketplace, decided he didn’t want it and started to leave, was shot and killed… in Baltimore. Family escaped Cuba a year ago only to have their 18-year-old son shot and killed in Baltimore.
