Good review but your comparing a Lariat Ultimate Tremor to a Denali (non ultimate). A bit apples and oranges. That Denali is more comparable IMO to a platinum. I think you’d find the interiors a bit closer matching in feel. Maybe the Lariat Tremor would be like an AT4. But I also get you can’t compare a platinum because they are a unicorn right now so 😢. Still, a good walk through!

I love the new gmc but I’m still going with ford. Ford has always been a step ahead. Now compare the Denali against a platinum or limited.

What people are missing out about the ford is the baja interior in 23. Never had tannish interior, but with black accents all over it is hella nice. Favorite option i got

After 25 years of owning a 1991 f350, 1997 f350, 2001 f250, 2001 f350, 2011 f350 and 2001 7.3 Excursion I went to the dark side and bought a 2023 GMC HD 2500 AT4. I have NEVER loved a truck more, the fit and finish, the attention to detail, the heavy metal on this truck with the steel body and of course the Duramax and Allison tranny. I never thought I would say this, both of my adult sons have disowned me, but through the years of all the 7.3 fluid leaks and a steady stream of repairs on all my Ford trucks, I don’t think I’m going back.

Had a 2023 GMC AT4 2500. Owned it almost one year. Paid big bucks for it. Diesel and all. In my life of 8 decades I’ve owned a few trucks. Thought the GMC would be a pleasant change. Nope, what a piece of JUNK!! The dealer spent more time with my GMC than I got to drive it. So much plastic. Fed up with the GMC and dumped it. This truck was definitely a Friday before a holiday weekend built truck.Nobody took the time to put the truck together correctly. Your observation of GMC and Ford is a little one sided before you started and you displayed too be without knowledge of just what your talking about. Youth! You must work for a GMC dealer! In time you’ll correct yourself to be more open minded. How is it as bad as you say FORD is, why is it out selling other trucks for what, 45 years.

Nice comparison but i still prefer the Ford. The Denali has a nicer plush interior but the ford was only a lariat, compare with a platinum or a limited or even a king ranch.

GMC makes a beautiful truck and I love the front end and interior.
But I hate the mirrors.
If I wasn’t driving a ford it would definitely be a GMC.

Id like to see a side by side comparison of a 2023 Limited Super Duty VS 2023 Denali. That would be apples to apples.

And a few friends of mine and my self went to gmc Ford and lost control of the pricing. This truck is expensive already, and Ford still wants 15k on top of the smrp

Do the newer GM still have a clunk when shifting to 2nd gear. Transfer Case is the cause in my 2003 and 2004 4 wheel drive.

Gm uses wax on frame, 1 winter it will rinse off and start rusting. Ford and Ram epoxy coat frames

Good comparison, I'm pretty sure you're aware the AT4X is the true competitor to the Tremor, but they're probably harder to find currently 🙂
