Though the sharia doesn’t explicitly enjoins the muslim men or women to pay any maintenance as such to the other after any couple separates but as there is no khilafat in India so we as Indian Muslims demand from the GOI that there should be a proper tribunal for looking into such divorce matters wherein if any Muslim men has divorced a women of old age or divorcing someone on smaller issues like food was not cooked properly or like not giving birth to male child should coerce the Muslim man to pay a handsome amount as maintenance and this would not be against sharia but I know none of the governments are interested in solving the issues of Muslim rather they are all trying to demonise the Muslim community and trying to enforce Hindu morality upon the Muslims

There should be a Uniform Law applicable to all. What does religion have to do with this ?

Bichari women jinko itna bhi ni pata ki koi bhi dharm or koi bhi sarkar inko nazar me rakh kar kanoon ni banati.

Agar patni bachchou ko maintane nahi kar sakti to bachchou ko pati ke handover kar dena chahi ye. is bare me high court / suprime court batana jaroori hai.
