I also heard you on Q and was blown away. Land of plenty in particular spoke deeply to my soul. I'm currently in TO visiting my son and researching an ancestor who arrived in the Aylmer area in 1820. He was likely from Prussia, a mennonite who left due to persecution for his pacifist beliefs. Ive also been researching my Amish relations who held similar beliefs and had to flee Switzerland persecuted by the catholic church and Swiss government for their heretic and pacifist beliefs whch included hundreds of deaths, arriving in Pennsylvania in the 1730s. The land of plenty was however elusive leading to relocations to Ohio then Kansas over the years. My great grandparents came to Alberta in 1910.

Yesterday my son and went and sat in a Ukrainian church north of bloor. The air was thick with prayer. Your song was in my head. I'm so proud of canada that we are welcoming those who are fleeing. I'm totally embarrassed to be from Alberta where the "Convoy" folks won't quit. They don't know how lucky we are to live here. Looking forewsrd to seeing you in the west soon.
