I feel so blessed in New Zealand. No predators of any kind, abundant water nearly everywhere you go tramping and the majority is fine to drink.

Where do you put your food if you're backpacking somewhere where you don't need a bear can? Doesn't look like there's more space for food inside, or is there?

Why do you put the stakes on the outside? I’ve also seen ppl store their tent poles outside too but if it fits inside why put it on the outside of the pack?
