Every winter fogged up windows is a nuisance for drivers making it dangerous and frustrating. The cold dry air from outside and the warm moist air trapped inside the car meets the windows and creates water to condensate on it fogging it up. You could crack open the window to let some cool air in and circulate, or you could turn on the heater, but the fastest way is to simply turn on the AC.

Wait look, so I got my license and I never really learned this stuff. So here in NJ it is cold and my windows fog up, I use the front defroster on hot air and it clears the fog, but after I turn it off it fogs up again. How can I fix this? Or am I really dumb?

Is it right to turn the AC to the coldest degree?
Because if we turn it to the hottest degree, the fog will increase because of the humidity.
