The first time I saw it was when I played NFS2 years ago. That game was so much fun I played it hundreds of times. Every time I see the F1 it brings back those memories. A truly timeless legend.

F1 was the greatest road supercar and still is. Unadorned by many aero addons with just a well designed body, light weight and fantastic engine. It is no surprise that the GMA T50, from many angles, is F1-like, given there were so few negatives about the design in the first place (and obviously Gordon designed both!). The P1 is almost as legendary as the F1, but for the added weight of the hybridisation elements. The Speedtail is interesting but not the successor to the F1 (and P1) that it should have been (just because it had three seats….). The 765LT is much more along the right lines (light weight, great handling, innovative approach in the design) but I look forward to the next successor in the form of the ‘P18’ unveiled next month….
