Dumpsters are basically free storage units!
You just go out and dive into them and swim in all the free stuff!

You can be a dumpster scavenger too! Just go out and dive on in and take whatever you want!

It's not an expiry date, it is a best before date. That is when it is guaranteed to be at the peak of freshness.
