I was stuck between the Nexus 5X and the Moto X pure. The main persuaders for me to get the 5X were the USB type C, ability to use Google's Project Fi (cell phone network for pretty good price and is never mentioned in reviews), and the fact that it will be the first to get updates to the OS.

There is a huge difference in performance between the 5X and 6P. The 5X is noticeably A LOT laggier as I've owned both, whereas the 6P is smooth like butter. I don't know how you didn't experience any lag as multitasking and switching between apps is a horrible experience after a prolonged period of time. The camera app lags and randomly crashes. This is not a phone I would recommend based on the above issues.

They should've made the 5x have 6p specs in a smaller screen and a 64 GB option and 2 front speakers instead of 1
