I love the detail of the Scav doing their in-game gesture of demanding payment

Thats me when i try to throw a pearl to a scav so that they let me pass the toll, but instead i accidentally throw the spear i was holding, and then i get showered by spears.

Accurate. You get to the toll, without ever having seen a scav in that playthrough, with a pearl, but before you can pay it they already killed you
