It’s lovely to have a relationship with your mom like that. Someone of us could only long for it. ❤

I don’t have a good relationship with my mom so this is comforting to see… people who have great relationships w/their moms ❤️

I lost my Mom 508 days ago. I understand this. What is important is your bond. Keep cherishing those phone calls. That IS time together ❤

That's what my call log looked like because I talked to my mom every day, sometimes several times a day. If she didn't call me, I'd call her. It's been 8 years since my mom passed, and I still have her in my contacts with our home phone number that we had almost all my life. I hope the pain of being apart from your mom eases!❤

Bless your sweet heart! My wild and beautiful Mom left in November 2019! I slept right beside her bed that night and awakened forty minutes after last checking on her. She wanted me there but not to see her go. She looked so beautifully peaceful.
The other day, I played some messages I had saved from her. One was a birthday song! I was born the day after her. We had one more birthday celebration together and she left a couple of weeks later! I was blessed to live with her during her last months and treated her like the Royalty she was! RIP to our beautiful Matriarchs!

Losing my Mom to Dementia right now. My heart hurts so badly bc I miss her already and she’s still here. I don’t know what or how I will be able to live on when she passes. I’m already grieving the loss of who she was, I cannot fathom how to deal with her leaving this earth. Much love to you! ❤

The most beautiful thing is she's still alive. You still have a chance to speak with her. The last time I spoke with my mother was October 27th 2003 at 11:59 a.m. That was the last time. May God continue to bless you with the gift of having your mother alive.

I feel your pain. My family lives in the Netherlands, moved to the US nearly 5 years ago and unfortunately can't travel there until I've had my green card interview. It's so hard and almost not worth it sometimes ❤

this is heart wrenching. My Mamma was my life, my best friend. She went to heaven in 2016. I miss her so much. I'm sorry you miss your Mamma. Keep the calls going as much as possible. Enjoy every second you have with her😀💛👏🏼

I cried every night i was in boot camp for my mom. She is my heart and soul. 12 years since I'm married, i have a child, but she will always be that person my soul longs for when we're apart.

While nothing beats seeing your mom in person, it's such an amazing thing to see our family via Zoom or Face Time or conference calls frequently!

What a blessing to be able to call her. I know the distance is hard. I hope you can visit her and vice versa. No one compares to a mother’s comfort. Sometimes we just need our momma.

I lost my mom at age 20. She never met my children. Seeing your pain missing your mom reminded me of my pain. It so deep. Cherish that she is here earth side and never take her for granted. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Comfort be with both of you. It is so very hard to live far away from our family. My daughter moved from Indiana to NYC 14 years ago. I am so thankful for the technology we have today to keep in touch, it's better than it was. But mama hugs are better when they're warm. Frequent visits home and from them to you are a necessity to store up those precious hugs and memories until the next visit. Breaks my heart when she needs me at times, and I'm not there.

Oh it’s so hard. Especially now that we are so much older. She will be 70 soon and all I want is to move home to be closer to her. I feel you and I’m sorry you are going through this. Much love.

It’s great that you have a beautiful relationship with your mom! I have the same with my 4 daughters and as a mom I felt the same when they moved away as well. But now years later they’re all moving back and I can’t be any more happy and grateful❣️❣️🙏🏽
God bless❣️❣️

I miss my mom. She was a FORCE of nature. She held her 8 other siblings together after her own mom died. Grandma was like the Sun, her husband and children and grands and greats just lived in her orbit. My mom was great at knowing when to be a Phylis (we never called it Karen) but she made sure she got what she paid for and that she was ALWAYS heard & understood. I guess she had to because she was the middle of the 9 children. I was always the one just like her. I ache for her and my Grandma sometimes. Just to have them hold me and help me back up, maybe especially right now. I'm recovering from a hospital stay that was a shock.

I lost my mom when I was 12. I often wonder what type of relationship we would have had.

It does get better over time.
