EDIT: I've got some reports that author of GITS 3.X temporarly disabled his mod availability, so uploaded this mode in legacy version if you want it:
Yo, Choombas! If you have any questions, ask away.
Additional info: I was not using any DLSS preset, but if I would, since we have DLSS 3.7, my pick is preset E.
Edit: I forgot to mention in the video that RT shadows for me have performance costs almost equal to raster shadows (and cascade shadows), so if you prefer softer shadows, try playing not only with RT reflections as suggested in the guide but also with shadows. You lose only around 3-5% performance. Personally, I prefer raster shadows. I know it's controversial, but normal shadows in CP look really good too.
Edit 2: I did not decide to use Ray Reconstruction because it's too performance-heavy, even with only RT reflections. I'm aware that RR makes reflections sharper, but for entry-level GPUs, it requires some lambs being sacrificed sometimes... 🤪.

Cheers, never fade away 🕊

I'm on a rtx 4090, just wanted to say I've been suffering with micro stutters especially nearly every 5 seconds and your guide alone has helped me not only play the game in a more stable way I was able to speed through night city like the videos I used to be jealous of when watching. Thanks a bunch, choom! I've tried many guides - stressing out, but you helped me to be able to play it smoothly. 👍

How on earth does this video have only 6.3K views?
I have a 3060 too and have tweaked so many mods and graphics, but my game not even remotely close to yours.
You're a legend! Thank you so much, subscribed!

By the way, is 1080p the reason why my game looks like shit?

what a vibe in intro...! Did you even shade the white background later for our night adjusted eyes? Wow, thinking of every detail!

Awesome video there!! Congratulations for your hard work, your videos always make me wanna explore and make configs I didn't even know about. I also wanted to ask you if theres any way to improve draw distance for the game. I'm having a really hard time trying to fix it and the pop-in I'm experiencing is way too much. I really want to play this game entirely, but I can't get immersed in its detailed world due to the pop-in I experience. Thank you very much in advance!!

I know you state you have an Nvida card, but trying to downscale on a rx7900xt and having some issues. You stated RSR should be able to be used in the same way as DSR, but I'm running into some issues. Running 1440p normally, want to go to 1.5k (4k) and downscale back - used CRU to allow me to choose 4k resolution in game, but RSR refuses to downscale, stating that the resolution in game must be lower than the monitor resolution. Did AMD abandon any ability to downscale using RSR, or is there a workaround?
I know this isn't the best place to ask but haven't been able to find any info on it

This vsr technique is wild at native 1080p somehow i was getting below 30 fps and 4k ultra performance 44fps! While looking 3 times better. I also use ultraplus mod and have RT reflections and rt lighting medium on, edge lut 2 and its edge lut weather 2 env i run it all at 30 FPS most of the time on freakin rx 6600 xt. The game looks photorealistic at times fr. I have some screenshots but idk where i could share them
