Hip arthroscopy has been the most rapidly-growing orthopaedic procedure, largely due to the diagnosis and successful treatment of femoroacetabular impingement. A real danger exists if we ignore other pathologic conditions that can masquerade as FAI and are treatable often with minimally invasive techniques.
